CHARM is led by Jocelyn Walters-Brannon, MPA, a Corporate and Children's Etiquette Consultant certified by the American School of Protocol with over twenty years of experience in training delivery and instructional design.
Jocelyn's path into this work was never abstract. Long before CHARM became a company, she was the person people quietly pulled aside before the interview, the meeting, the introduction that mattered, and was asked to help them find the version of themselves that could walk into any room and be taken seriously. That instinct became a discipline. That discipline became a doctrine.
For more than two decades, she has carried that work across the Southeastern United States, East Africa, and Europe, into boardrooms, diplomatic circles, university halls, and classrooms full of young people just beginning to find their voice. She has trained leaders preparing for the highest-stakes conversations of their careers, and she has knelt down to teach a child how to shake a hand with confidence. She believes both moments deserve the same level of care.
That commitment to youth development has taken her, quite literally, around the world. Jocelyn has led CHARM students on cultural and etiquette tours across Europe, including Paris, Italy, and the United Kingdom · giving young people the opportunity to practice the skills they had built through the CHARM curriculum in real international settings, while exposing them to the customs, manners, and protocol of cultures beyond their own. These experiences reflected a belief that has never changed: etiquette is not theoretical, and the truest test of any standard is how it holds up far from home.
Today, as a member of the international diplomatic community, Jocelyn brings a firsthand understanding of cross-cultural protocol that few trainers can claim from experience rather than theory alone. Her work is shaped not just by certification, but by living the standard she teaches · in rooms where credibility is not assumed, but earned in every interaction.
